The Opportunity:

The ideal candidate for the Residential Design Project Consultant role is a proactive, fast-moving, and amiable communicator who excels at understanding clients and has a talent for crafting transformative projects. In this role, you will take charge of selling the initial engagement with clients, serving as a trusted advisor, and leading a team to design and price residential remodeling projects. These projects will encompass a wide range of costs, from $20,000 to $2,000,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, educating them and providing expert advice to ensure their project’s success.
  • Lead the initial engagement with clients, overseeing the design and pricing of residential remodeling projects ranging from $20,000 to $2,000,000
  • Conduct lead qualification and on-site client consultations
  • Crush it without crushing yourself. We generally expect 40 hours a week, but we empower you to set your own schedule and work mostly M-F.
  • No cold-calling. You will serve clients who contact KC’s for projects, warm leads from referrals, or KC’s website.
  • Assist clients with design concepts and product selections
  • Collaborate with a team of project managers, designers, and external consultants throughout the remodel design process
  • Hand off projects to the production team for implementation
  • Oversee the client experience from start to finish
  • Conduct lead qualification
  • Perform on-site client consultation
  • Develop, manage, and update the project budget
  • Assist client with design concepts and product selections
  • Close design & construction contracts

Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the residential remodeling industry
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License, a vehicle, and auto insurance coverage are required
  • Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident.
  • Critical path planning skills to get projects worth hundreds of thousands of dollars through the design process.
  • General understanding of interior design, building code, structural features, and architecture
  • Familiarity with construction management technology and software
  • Strong ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline to drive sales and generate revenue
  • Has a history of closing sales and generating new revenue in prior roles

Schedule:
This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend work possible.

Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

Compensation:
$50,000.00 base salary + Commission!

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects. As the customer representative of our esteemed builder, the ideal candidate will excel at directing and coordinating various stakeholders including employees, subcontractors, materials suppliers, and inspectors.

The primary goal of the Residential Construction Project Manager will be to ensure the timely completion of projects while meeting profitability targets. A strong commitment to adhering to contractual obligations, maintaining project schedules, and managing budgets efficiently is essential.

The Residential Construction Project Manager will bear the ultimate responsibility for the overall success of each project, prioritizing customer satisfaction as a key deliverable.

Responsibilities: 

  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and change orders to ensure that the job is built according to the approved plans.
  • Create and regularly update project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Monitor job profitability on an ongoing basis and provide monthly updates on profit projections.
  • Strive to maximize profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Assign materials and laborers required for construction projects.
  • Order, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of materials and supplies.

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction process is required; a construction/engineering degree is helpful but not required.

        The Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will be a reliable, career-oriented individual with experience in residential and commercial remodeling that can oversee multiple projects from all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, and execution.

        The Remodeling Estimator will oversee budgeting, developing cost estimates, development of construction schedules, and presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for use by the Client, Project Manager, and Project Team.

        Responsibilities:

        • Oversee multiple projects and manage all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, and execution
        • Develop accurate cost estimates and construction schedules, presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for clients, project managers, and the project team
        • Allocate resources efficiently for assigned projects, working closely with office staff and field crews
        • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, negotiating reasonable order costs, and expanding the pool of reliable subcontractors
        • Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks related to jobs and office work

        Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:

        • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the residential construction industry, specifically in estimating
        • Cost estimating experience is required (experience with estimating software a plus)

            The Opportunity:

            We are seeking an Experienced Remodeling Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for a skilled professional with a proven track record in residential and commercial remodeling.

            The ideal candidate will be a reliable, career-oriented individual with experience in residential and commercial remodeling. We are looking for an experienced All-Around Carpenter who is a proactive team player for our residential remodeling company. The Remodeling Carpenter may perform general carpentry tasks as well as other basic remodeling tasks including, but not limited to, painting and finishing, drywall work, and insulation. You must be technically capable to perform advanced carpentry tasks in a safe and efficient manner and work well with our team and outside subs. Room for advancement for motivated individuals.

            Responsibilities:

                • Install windows, doors, molding, cabinets, and millwork with precision and attention to detail
                • Installing cabinets and millwork
                • Erect scaffolding and ladders to assemble structures above ground levels safely
                • Installing wood and/or metal framing
                • Read and execute architectural plans to ensure accurate implementation
                • Maintain and organize tools to ensure efficiency and safety on the job site
                • Clean work areas to promote safe working environments for the team
                • Maintain clear and open communication with our team and clients (homeowners) to ensure project success
                • Collaborate effectively with subcontractors and other team members to deliver exceptional results
                • Follow onsite instructions to meet daily and weekly project goals
                • Ensure the scope of work is completed on time
                • Know and understand all plans and specifications for the assigned job and immediately get answers to questions when plans and specifications are unclear.
                • Complete all work, as directed by the Lead Carpenter and/or the Project Manager related to carpentry and other work generally done by this company such as:
                  • Framing Exterior trim
                  • Installation of windows and doors
                  • Installation of the siding of all varietiesInstallation of interior doors
                  • Installation of interior trim of all varietiesInstallation of cabinets
                  • Installation of and hookup appliances
                  • Any additional work requested by a customer must have a Change Order completed and approved by the Lead Carpenter and/or the Project Manager prior to any work being performed.
                • Have all the tools at the job site daily that are required for the proper installation of the above-mentioned tasks.
                • If requested, supervise all work done by subcontractors to ensure conformance with company standards and specifications.
                • Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards and ensure subcontractors clean up after themselves daily.
                • Assist Lead Carpenter in ordering the proper amount of materials to ensure that trips to pick up additional materials during the project are minimized.
                • Except if directed by the Lead Carpenter, be on site when the inspector(s) arrive, accompany them, and deal with issues that arise.
                • Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Lead Carpenter or Project Manager.

            Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:

                • Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in construction
                • 3+ years of experience as a general laborer
                • 1+ years of carpentry experience in the home improvement or construction industry
                • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
                • Valid Driver’s License, tools, and a vehicle are required
                • Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident.
                • Bring your own set of carpentry tools to the job. This includes but is not limited to, hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, measuring equipment, and power tools like drills and sanders.
                • Strong working knowledge of job site safety, with preference given to candidates who have completed OSHA training
                • High standard of integrity and professionalism in all interactions
                • Ability to follow procedures and efficiently execute projects as directed
                • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and subcontractors

            Physical Demands:

                • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
                • The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The Remodeling Carpenter lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints, or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The Remodeling Carpenter must have excellent stamina.

            Schedule:
            This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday,
            8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Overtime requires approval-may include some evening/weekend work.

            Travel:
            Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

            Compensation:
            $18.00-$25.00 per hour (DOE)

            • Any additional work requested by a customer must have a Change Order completed and approved by the Lead Carpenter and/or the Project Manager prior to any work being performed.
            • Have all the tools at the job site daily that are required for the proper installation of the above-mentioned tasks.
            • If requested, supervise all work done by subcontractors to ensure conformance with company standards and specifications.
            • Assist Lead Carpenter in ordering the proper amount of materials to ensure that trips to pick up additional materials during the project are minimized.

            Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:

            • Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in construction
            • 3+ years of experience as a general laborer
            • 1+ years of carpentry experience in the home improvement or construction industry
            • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
            • Valid Driver’s License, a vehicle, and auto insurance coverage are required
            • Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident.
            • Bring your own set of carpentry tools to the job. This includes but is not limited to, hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, measuring equipment, and power tools like drills and sanders.
            • Strong working knowledge of job site safety, with preference given to candidates who have completed OSHA training

            Work Environment:
            While performing the duties of this job, the Remodeling Carpenter Helper is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The Remodeling Carpenter Helper is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

            Schedule:
            This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Overtime requires approval-may include some evening/weekend work.

            Travel:
            Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

            Compensation:
            $17.00-$23.00 per hour (DOE)

              The Opportunity:
              The Material Facilitator is responsible for material mobilization, delivery, and clean-up of all job sites.

              The position collaborates with the Project Team to ensure job sites are maintained on a regular basis and field staff has the required materials in a timely manner. The Material Facilitator is also responsible for shop duties, organization, keeping a record of all loaned tools, and maintaining accurate time in Construction Software. 

              • Responsibilities:
                Facilitate materials, job signs, permit boxes, etc. to job sites
              • Ensure the job site is clean the day prior to the start of the job and take accurate pictures of site conditions and upload them to the construction management software by the close of the workday.
              • Assist with material mobilization, delivery, and clean-up of job sites to ensure efficient project execution.
              • As directed by the Project Manager, pick up and deliver all material required for the project and ensure that all material is in good working order. Ensure an accurate inventory of all supplies on hand.
              • Collaborate with the Project Team to maintain job sites regularly and ensure the timely availability of materials for field staff.
              • Perform shop duties, maintain tool inventory, and keep accurate records of loaned tools
              • Ensure tool inventory is maintained & tracked and all loaned tools are returned in the condition in which they were issued and immediately report any issues to the Project Manager.
              • At the end of the workday, ensure your daily project logs and time is accurately recorded in the Construction Management platform for each project on which you worked that day.
              • Responsible for maintaining company vehicles through daily routine maintenance checks and appearance of vehicles inside and out.
              • Contribute to the overall organization and cleanliness of company vehicles
